@@ubergammer00 you might have to rewatch/reread that part. It’s specifically stated by Shigaraki that his mutation is not a quirk, but his bodies evolution (due to the surgery from Dr. Garaki). Although you are still correct about Erasure, this is not the same because it’s not a Heyeromorph’s quirk, but biological surgery

@@GotNoSwagGaming it’s accumulated energy. And THAT energy increases the physical stats and quirk. It’s just that no one had it when there was ALOT of buit up power. All Might accumulated the most since he’s had OFA for 40 years. The next longest was the 4th user with 20 years and everyone else only had it for a few years (at most a decade) So all might got MORE strength because he built up more power in OFA to use, and when he gave it to Deku, Deku was granted that power.

@@Est_1.997 yup! Although it wasn’t when he was as strong as all might, it was when his body fully formed from his mutation surgery with AFO.

@@MangaVation Bro your explanation was spot on, they never out right say it but it’s the only logical reason for how a quirkless human like All might could have such a transformation. I think it even lead AFO to recognize he would likely need a special body(upgraded Shigi) to defeat OFA. Question, do you think AFO believed he needed a special body to absorb the OFA quirk. If he tried do you think the vestiges would be able to counteract and reject the attempt no matter what.

@@Est_1.997 I do! That’s why he started the creation of the Nomu. But in his fight with AM he lost the chance to genetically modify his own body (because he lost his head 😭) so he started the “new plan” of developing a new vessel able to modify their body, so he can take over their body and become immortal. Based on what we’re revealed in the story this is my complete theory. Well, not 100%, I have a theory on WHY he’s doing all of this. And it’s pretty evident that it’s true

Do you think there is any connection or was supposed to be any connection between heteromorphic quirks like spinner mezo etc. & what we see all might or shigiraki doing? I almost feel like something was there but idk, just want hear your thoughts on it even if you think nah there’s no real connection to be found.

@@martinwhite2792 not at all. It actually proved it. Toya was stated to have the biological makeup from his mother and having his father’s quirks. So his body is vulnerable to heat naturally (because he has an ice quirk body) which is why he gets burnt easily when he uses his quirk. So this proves that your body can have separate gene factor than your quirk

@@MangaVation In that case it proves your body and quirk make up can be different, which is correct. But then to add another point, you mention that because bodies can evolve like quirks, that it should catch up, which is also the main point. <-- This shouldn't happen unless we are assuming bodies will grow faster than quirks at some point.

@@martinwhite2792 if you consider that human physiology can evolve SEPARATE from quirks, you don’t have to factor in the rate at which they evolve compared to quirks. Because that doesn’t determine anything. The point is, you can have a mutated physiology, yet not gain a quirk factor from that parent. This again, is shown in someone like Toya (Ice body; flame quirk) It’s also true that both of your parents can have quirks and you are born without a quirk factor, like Deku. So it would be reasonable to conclude that you can gain a physiological mutation and also not inherit a quirk factor from your parents. Which I am theorizing here with All Mights muscle form!

@@MangaVation Honestly, it sounds slightly reasonable, but I will go with these three main points. The theory was made by someone who was hand-picked by AFO to make his new body, nomu's, etc. Someone who has lived in that world their entire life, in the medical field for 20+ years at least, and known for his illegal experimentation. If that guy is saying bodies aren't catching up, he knows what he is talking about. In the 200 something odd years that quirks have been around, they have been consistently outpacing humans for some time. Since heroes have become popular, it is starting to become the new "fad" and it is only going to spread. We are currently talking about only a handful of people with quirks. Once it becomes a lot more common place (a lot of what we are seeing is from the heroes perspective, but a lot of other countries don't have quirks at all), the pacing is going to go through the roof, blowing out physical mutations. Lastly, while quirks seem kinda limitless, there is even a guy who is literally just words, the body has clearly been shown to have its limitations. While there are outliers, sure, but they are 1 in a billion at best. So then if we are saying that physical mutations can surpass quirks, in order to stop the singularity, then no. If we are saying that all might is one in a billion, then I would also have to say no. Unless we are also saying deku is also the same as him. The point all might made was simply that you have to have a body to accept it, and that's just through grueling training. His form can be something up for debate later, but him holding the quirks is just going to the gym real good. But here we are saying that All Might could have gotten a physical mutation. Which is hard to say, I haven't seen a lot of physical mutations that let you change form, and in all might's case it requires him to be in good health, otherwise it can't be maintained. Even with his quirk, he couldn't maintain it after a fight with AFO.
